Air India has come under fire as an Indian-American passenger shared his dreadful experience from a Delhi-bound flight.
Anip Patel, an Indian-origin entrepreneur, shared a video on TikTok documenting his 15-hour flight from Chicago to Delhi. From the onset, it was appalling to see how unhygienic the cabin was as he shared evidence of stained and damaged seats.

Moreover, despite paying for a first-class cabin, Patel was completely devoid of the amenities that come with it. There was no entertainment, food options, or WiFi on a 15-hour long flight adding to his miseries.
Air India has been called out multiple times for similar incidents in the past. Whether it is the unhygienic cabins or flight delays, the Tata-owned airline has not had the best reputation with the passengers.

The company claimed that they are funding $400 million to refurbish its aircraft. However, this recent news raises more questions about this announcement as the flight experience still remains awful for passengers.
When Tata took over the ruinous Air India two years ago, everyone hoped there would be major changes in the airline. And while there have been some improvements in the staff, there seems to be a lot more work left to do to create a world-class airline experience as the company claims to have.
