A shocking incident has surfaced from Jammu and Kashmir’s sacred town of Katra and is quickly going viral due to its Bollywood connection.
Orhan Awatramani (Orry) has been booked along with seven others by the local police for allegedly drinking alcohol in Katra near the sacred Vaishno Devi Base Camp.

The J&K police were quick to act, assembling a team full of the department’s top brass to make sure the situation didn’t slip out of hand.
Any tourist, no matter who they are, should remember to respect the local laws when they set foot on their destination, especially a sacred one.
