Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran BO: Really Unfortunate

Vikram’s highly anticipated Veera Dheera Sooran Part-2 (VDS), directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, was released in theaters on March 27th and has received positive responses from the audience.

According to trade analysts, despite the positive reception and glowing reviews, VDS is performing only average at the box office. It is still a long way from breakeven in Tamil Nadu, and if the current trend continues, VDS will wrap up its theatrical run below Thangalaan and Cobra in terms of collections.

For the past few years, Vikram has been striving to deliver a box office success, with his last solo theatrical hit being Iru Mugan in 2016. Since then, none of his films have managed to achieve significant commercial success.

Kollywood audiences and Vikram’s fans had high expectations that VDS would mark his comeback in terms of box office collections. However, VDS has failed to achieve box office success, and trade experts believe that the delay in release due to the OTT rights dispute played a major role in its underwhelming performance. The postponement disrupted the audience’s first-day experience and significantly impacted the film’s opening.
