The movie Marco has become the most successful Malayalam movie in the Hindi belt. Its first day collection was around 50 lakhs but the word of mouth worked so much in favour of the movie that it went on to do a business of about 15 crores.
It clashed with superstar Mohanlal’s ‘Barroz’ but the clash did not have any impact on its business and people have liked the movie and tagged it as ‘the most violent film ever made in India’.

Many people have reportedly vomited during many of the violent and bloody scenes and there has been huge controversies regarding it as well.
The producer of the movie Shareef Muhammed has teased a sequel of the movie in one of his recent posts. He posted a photo with Unni Mukundan, the star of the movie and said, “BRO-CODE. Are You Ready for Marco 2?”

There are rumours that Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram will be joining Unni Mukundan for Marco 2. If that happens, it will be a huge boost for the movie.
Vikram has given memorable performances in movies like ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘I’, ‘Aparichit’ and ‘Ravanan’ and he has earned a huge fan base in all over India as well. His joining the cast will increase the chances of Marco 2 being a pan-Indian hit even more.

These rumours are circulating after a social media post of the producer and Vikram’s son together. However, we will have to wait a bit longer to confirm whether this is happening or not.
