YSR Congress MP Vijaysai Reddy had announced Retirement from Politics.
Sai Reddy announced that he would resign from Rajya Sabha on the 25th of this month.

“I am not joining any political party. I am not resigning for any other position, benefit, or money. This decision is completely my personal one. There is no pressure. No one influenced me,” Sai Reddy announced.
He also declared that Agriculture was going to be his future.

This announcement has shocked everyone. Sai Reddy is in the close coterie of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. YSR Congress is dreaming about its revival in Andhra Pradesh and is hoping that the anti-incumbency has peaked in the new government in just seven months.
Sai Reddy’s resignation will mean that he has no such hopes for now and also for the future.

His position is that he can not join any other party and staying in YSR Congress has no benefit.
Remember he is the same person who announced starting a News Channel after the election defeat. And now, he sees no use in continuing in politics.
How do we further read into this announcement?
Sai Reddy is the Accused Number Two in all of Jagan’s cases. There may be information to him that the cases will fast-track very soon. This resignation may be a hope that he may spared considering that he quit politics completely.
If that is the reason, it will be a big trouble for Jagan Mohan Reddy in the days to come.
Also, Sai Reddy was also recently questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for playing a significant role in the alleged forceful transfer of shares pertaining to the Kakinada Infrastructure Holdings Pvt. Ltd. to the Aurobindo Realty.
Sai Reddy’s SIL Sarath Chandra Reddy and another YSR Congress leader YV Subba Reddy are the directors of Aurobindho Pharma, another company in the group. It was alleged that they supervised the forcible deal and Sai Reddy himself blackmailed K V Rao, chairman of Kakinada Seaports Limited for forcibly acquiring a stake in Kakinada Seaport and Kakinada SEZ.
Mr Rao also named Jagan in his complaint to the APCID. If this issue is the reason for Sai Reddy’s resignation, the coming days are going to be tough for Jagan.
Sai Reddy’s resignation will be a huge loss to Jagan as he is the key lobbyist for the YSR Congress Chief.
Ever since his first nomination to the Upper House in 2016, he became Jagan’s keyman in Delhi.
Whenever Jagan is in trouble in one way or the other, we used to see Sai Reddy land in Delhi with Shawls, Tirupati Prasadam, and idols of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
He has been successful in bringing the Central Government to the side of Jagan during the 2019 elections. The CBI and ED cases on Jagan have also slowed down significantly after coming to power. The CM even stopped attending the court hearings.
Jagan will miss his services big time and this Rajya Sabha seat is now going to TDP for Reddy’s remainder of the term.
Interestingly, Sai Reddy’s announcement came hours after Chandrababu Naidu met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi. Naidu, surprisingly, did not come home after his Davos Trip and went on to meet the Finance Minister and President of India.
