Vijay Sethupathi is currently hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. The show started last week, and in the first episode, VJ’s hosting acquired lots of positive responses, but after the last episode, he was getting lots of negative reviews from the audience.
Most of the Tamil Bigg Boss audiences were used to seeing Bigg Boss only for Kamal Haasan’s hosting and his timing replies; for those audiences now, what Vijay Sethupathi is doing is more irritating.

While some of them were responding positively to Vijay Sethupathi, most of them were sharing negative feedback, as he doesn’t fit as a host for this show.
He does not allow the contestants to speak, as he interferes during their speech and insists on his perspective; also, when others try to speak while Vijay Sethupathi is speaking, he doesn’t allow them to do so, says the audience.

Some of their audiences on their tweet mention that his timing counters some of them were enjoyable and clapworthy, while some of them were irritating and very amateur. Also, his replies were not mature.
Bigg Boss audiences felt that Vijay Sethupathi was not a perfect replacement for Kamal Haasan, and he was not good at hosting the show. It looks like, after the first episode, Vijay Sethupathi is the only reason why Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 ended up as a failure.
