Recently, YouTuber Abhishek Raja, who worked as an assistant to Venkat Prabhu on GOAT, revealed some intriguing details.
According to Raja, Vijay has already seen the final cut of the film and is thrilled with the outcome. He reportedly hugged Venkat Prabhu and expressed that he might have considered working with him again on another film if he hadn’t decided to retire from acting.

This suggests that Vijay might be regretting his decision to shift to politics after watching the film. Vijay has announced that Thalapathy 69, his next film after GOAT, will be his final acting project as he plans to shift focus to politics.
While Vijay’s satisfaction with GOAT is clear, not all aspects have been well-received.

The third single from GOAT, titled Spark, was released recently, but the dance number composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja did not live up to fans’ expectations due to its mediocrity.

In GOAT, Vijay plays dual roles as a father and son, with the de-aging technique used to show his younger self. GOAT, also known as The Greatest Of All Time, will hit theaters in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi this September.
