In the film industry, scripts often change hands. A project planned for one star might end up with another due to scheduling conflicts or creative choices.
The latest example seems to be VD12, Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri.

Currently in production, VD12 is making waves on social media. Reports suggest this script was initially meant for Ram Charan.
While Charan liked the story, he had to drop it after getting Game Changer with legendary director Shankar. Even producer Dil Raju hinted at this on Balakrishna’s Unstoppable show, mentioning that Charan gave up a confirmed project for Game Changer.

Now, Charan’s fans are regretting the decision. They feel he should have gone ahead with Gowtam Tinnanuri’s film instead of Game Changer, which turned into a disaster.
They believe VD12 is looking far more promising, but Charan got caught up with big names and let go of a solid project.

With Charan stepping away, the film landed with Vijay Deverakonda, who gave it the green light.
Backed by Sithara Entertainments and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, VD12 stars Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead.
The first look and teaser are rumored to drop on February 7. The fact that this script once impressed Ram Charan has further raised expectations among Vijay Deverakonda’s fans.
Now, all eyes are on whether VD12 can make the most of this golden opportunity lost by Ram Charan and live up to the hype.
