Light-hearted films are hardly made in Bollywood today. At a time when we are struggling to get entertained on the big screen, Netflix and YRF Entertainment have collaborated to bring a joyful ride for the audience, titled Vijay 69.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher is playing the lead role and the title has already hinted that the basic premise will focus on an old man. The trailer, which recently came out, already features glimpses of the lead character, who aims to participate in the triathlon despite facing health challenges.

We also get to see the entire world making fun of the man as he tries to accomplish what he wants. Apart from that, he is struggling to adjust himself to certain things that have changed over the years, including the impact of modernization on everyone.
OTT films usually focus on abuse, hardcore intimate scenes, and violence. But we don’t get to see anything like that in the trailer and it seems like YRF is not willing to make the audience feel disturbed and wants them to simply enjoy the film.

The lead character is a man whose life is all about simplicity. While some would say that the story would appeal to those who are of the same age, it is completely wrong.
It is a story of bravery and courage that is an important part of everyone’s lives. Audiences hardly go to the theatres to watch such films and although it is being released on Netflix, Vijay 69 is expected to bring more viewership for the streaming platform.

The film is arriving on November 8 and apart from Anupam Kher, it also includes Chunky Pandey playing an important role.
