In a mishap at the oath-taking ceremony of the Kakinada Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Thummala Babu, several TDP and Janasena MLAs and leaders fell as the stage collapsed all of a sudden.
According to reports, the stage collapsed as many people came onto it, resulting in the mishap. As a result, TDP MLAs Chinarajappa, Pantham Nanaji, MLC Hari Prasad, and senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu fell.

Fortunately, they were safe, and nothing serious happened to them. As the stage was not very high, leaders who fell did not sustain any serious injuries. However, they had minor injuries.
Kakinada Janasena Party President Thummala Babu took oath as KUDA chairman earlier today. The ceremony was attended by several NDA MLAs and leaders.

When the pandits were performing puja and giving blessings to Babu, the stage collapsed all of a sudden. Everyone on the stage fell before they realized what was happening.
Other party workers who were below immediately rescued the MLAs, MLCs, and leaders who fell from the stage.

Reportedly, the stage which had a capacity of 50 members couldn’t hold when more than 200 members came onto it, resulting in the collapse.
