This festive weekend saw a battle between Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video aka VVKWWV. Film pundits had declared VVKWWV would win at the box office but at what cost?
Critics and viewers are badly disappointed by this project. Inspite of featuring Rajkumar Rao who is riding big on the success of Stree 3 and Tripti Dimri who became a sizzling favourite with Animal, it is a total disaster.

Netizens are trolling the film for crude and flat humour. Many say that the jokes are like that of a 10th grader.
The humour is also not very socially appropriate because it features jokes on age, sex, regionality and other sensitive topics. On top of all this it is added with lifeless performances of the lead actors.

Mallika Sherawat also features in the film in a supposedly interesting role but fans are not liking her either. Backed by T-Series the film has open access to 90s songs and tries to revive the era in the cinematography, but fans don’t appreciate the tacky tracks in the background.
The ending preaches a very socially conscious message on women’s respect and society’s perception. It also hints at a sequel but audiences are already dreading it.
