As Vicky Kaushal aims for his much-awaited release of Chhaava this February, he has an action-packed lineup ahead of him after Chhaava.
The period drama caught much attention after its recent controversy regarding a Lezim dance showcased in the film’s trailer. After many protests and debates, the filmmakers decided to delete the scenes showcasing the inappropriate dance.

While it attracted a lot of heat, the film might have benefitted from it a lot as several high-level politicians were also involved in the debate. After Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in another period drama, Mahavatar.
Portraying the character of Lord Parashurama, the film will be monumental for the actor as he will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar once again. To avoid any unnecessary controversies, the makers have already declared their sources for making the film.

The writer of the film Niren Bhatt recently shared a statement declaring that the film has a lot of references from the Bhagavata Purana and 11 other scriptures to ensure that everything shown is correct.
“There are lots of references from Bhagavata Purana and 11 other scriptures. I have already read them all to get all the details right” said Niren Bhatt.

The much-awaited period drama will tell the story of Lord Parashurama, who is considered to be the 6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. As Vicky Kaushal looks to go back to back with his two diverse yet thrilling releases, it remains to be seen how his upcoming projects turn out to be.
