A few reports have claimed that the sequel to Brahmastra will be released in December 2026 alongside Mahavatar. However, the makers of the latter have not shared any updates about the production process so far and other details are yet to be revealed.

Mahavatar also has a lot of potential considering that it is being helmed by Amar Kaushik, who has been associated with Maddock Supernatural Universe for a long time. Even though the genre is new for Amar, he is expected to handle the subject with care.

Mahavatar’s filming process is scheduled to start next year and it will focus on Parashurama, Lord Vishnu’s 6th avatar, born to Renuka and Jamdagani. While the former was a warrior, the latter was a Brahamana.

When Parashurama’s father was killed as he stopped the confiscation of a family cow, Parashurama used his axe to kill the demonic kings. He even fought against the monarch and Kshatriyas to help the world get rid of evil forces.

Vicky has taken the path of Ranbir Kapoor by choosing high-budget films, featuring characters that would be remembered forever. After Chhaava, he will appear in Love & War alongside Ranbir, followed by Mahavatar in 2026.
