Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran Part-2 (VDS), directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, was finally released in theatres yesterday and has received positive responses from audiences.
VDS’s first show started yesterday evening instead of at 9 AM due to the OTT rights holder being unable to sell their rights before the theatrical release. Additionally, they filed a case against the VDS production team in the Supreme Court for releasing the movie without selling the OTT rights.

The Supreme Court heard the case yesterday morning and banned the movie’s release for four weeks. However, after multiple negotiations, the case was cleared, and the movie was finally released yesterday evening.
Despite the release struggles, many people who watched the movie by evening shared positive responses and appreciated Vikram and SJ Suryah’s performances.

After a series of flops, Vikram’s VDS is finally receiving positive responses, which may bring some relief for the actor, even though the movie didn’t have a strong opening at the box office. However, with positive word-of-mouth, bookings for the movie are gradually increasing across the nation.
It remains to be seen how VDS will perform at the box office and whether it will emerge as a blockbuster success in the coming days.
