Former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been arrested and is serving a Judicial Remand.

Vamsi claims to have been Paritala Ravi’s follower since the start of his political career. Political Opponents previously alleged that Vamsi is a Benami of Ravi.
Paritala Family did not respond to the arrest and some people were saying that their silence is due to the relationship with Vamsi.

Even a section of the TDP cadre doubts whether the Paritala family still has ties with Vamsi.
Paritala Sriram clarified it in an interview with a TV Channel.

“I have been hearing this for a long time. I don’t understand what is this Benami. He is not a relation of us and he is not a businessman too. People who are making these allegations should use common sense. If Vamsi is my relative or close follower or friend, he can be a Benami. Who will keep money on an unknown person like Vamsi? All our businesses are in our names and we did that rightfully,” Sriram said.
“These people who are saying he is our Benami, I urge them to bring those assets. They are saying it is my father’s money. Then why not? I will be happy to enjoy it,” Sriram added.
Sriram also commented that Vamsi is paying for the sins he committed.
“The comments if made in the Assembly or anywhere are heinous. He deserves what he is undergoing. There are many who use Paritala Ravi’s name. Some people did good using his name and some people misused it. We are also struggling to cope up with the current politics. These days, Politics is all about doing cheap talk that happens at Tea shops and Coffee shops,” Sriram added.
