Historian Allan Lichtman, famous for correctly predicting 9 out of the last 10 US Presidential elections, believes Kamala Harris will win in 2024. He evaluated the current administration’s performance with his unique method called the “13 Keys.”

Recent polls are swinging toward Donald Trump, but Lichtman insists that his prediction isn’t affected by polls and will remain the same. He debunked the “October surprise,” where the votes are swayed in favor of one candidate late into the campaign, as a political myth.
The 77-year-old historian remains stubborn with his pick in a tumultuous political climate in the US. He judges the candidates on key governance issues like economic indicators, political charisma, foreign policies, etc.

Kamala Harris came out on top against Trump on Richtman’s Keys with 8 out of 13 factors favoring the US Vice President.
This model has proven to be highly reliable with him missing only one election in the last 40 years. As we head into the final stages of the presidential race it remains to be seen if this year will add another feather to his cap.
