    Upcoming tech launches in June 2024: From Vivo X Fold 3 Pro to Xiaomi 14 Civi and more


    June 2024 promises a wide variety of smartphone launches across all price segments from top makers like OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Motorola and others. If you are planning to purchase a new handset, consider waiting until next month, for some big smartphones, having advanced technology, are lined up for launch in the upcoming few months.

    Here’s a complete list of all the mobile launches set to enthrall the tech industry in June 2024:

    Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

    Vivo is all set to make its official entry into the foldable smartphone market in India with the launch of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro on June 6. According to reports, the foldable smartphone will come with Zeiss optics and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

    It will have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, and will run on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.

    While its inner screen measures 8.03 inches with a resolution of 2480×2200, the external one is expected to be 6.53 inches with a resolution of 2748 x 1172. Both of them shall be AMOLED LTPO 120Hz displays.

    In China, the phone is available with a starting price of 9,999 yuan (approximately ₹1,17,000).

    Xiaomi 14 Civi

    Xiaomi 14 Civi is confirmed to be the Chinese smartphone maker’s next major launch in India. In a social media post, Xiaomi teased the handset with a cryptic ‘Cinematic Vision’ text and stated that it will be unveiled in the country on June 12.

    According to rumours, this might be a rebranded version of Civi 4 Pro, which debuted in China in March earlier this year.

    While no details about Xiaomi 14 Civi have been released yet, the Civi 4 Pro comes with a 6.55-inch full-HD OLED display having a refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 2 protection.

    Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

    OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite

    After the success of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite and its recent launch of the OnePlus Nord CE4 earlier this year, the Chinese brand is now expected to launch the Nord CE4 Lite in the next few months in India.

    While no official announcement has been made yet, the successor to the Nord CE3 Lite is anticipated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with support of 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

    Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola G85

    After the recent launch of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, the company is now gearing up to introduce the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in the Indian market, as well as the Motorola G85.

    According to numerous reports, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with an Adreno 735 GPU.

    It is said to have a 6.7-inch Super HD pOLED screen with a pixel resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, supporting a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of up to 2800 nits. Further, it is rumoured to pack up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

    Moto G85 5G is also planned for launch in the coming weeks as a successor to the Moto G84 5G, which was unveiled in September last year.

    Motorola Razr 50 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra

    Besides the regular smartphones, Motorola is expected to expand its foldable smartphone range with Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra soon. Rumours doing rounds suggest that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek processor and feature a dual camera setup at the back. However, no official statement has been released yet.
