Kannada actor Darshan, who is currently in custody in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, may be temporarily released to attend a promotional event for Upendra’s film UI.
Originally set for a September 18 release, UI has been postponed, and Darshan’s possible appearance at the event has stirred controversy.

Despite reports suggesting Darshan might attend the event, there is no official court order granting his temporary release. Darshan remains in Ballari prison with other accused individuals.
