PM Modi To Attend ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ Programme In Delhi

According to his office, on December 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in a “historic” celebration of “Veer Bal Diwas” at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in this location, reported news agency PTI.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) announced in a statement that Modi would participate in a “Shabad Kirtan” performed by approximately 300 “Baal Kirtanis” and flag off a march-past by approximately 3,000 children in Delhi.

According to the statement, the government is holding interactive and participatory events all over the country to educate citizens, particularly young children, about the story of the “sahibzades,” the children of the last Sikh guru Gobind Singh, who sacrificed their lives to uphold their faith.

In schools and colleges all over the country, activities like essay writing and quiz competitions will be held. According to the statement, digital exhibitions will be set up in public places like airports, gas stations, and railway stations.

All over the country, programmes will be organised where dignitaries will narrate the life story and sacrifice of the martyred sons of the last Sikh guru, the statement said.

President Murmu To Visit Srisailam Temple In AP 

On Monday, officials announced that President Droupadi Murmu would pay a visit to the Srisailam temple in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh to officially launch the “Prasad” tourism project.

They stated that a helicopter will transport Murmu from Hyderabad to the temple town.

She is scheduled to make special offerings at the Srisailam temples of Goddess Bramarambhika and Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy.

The President’s security is being planned out by the Nandyal district police.

As part of the five-day trip to the south, Murmu will arrive in Hyderabad on December 26.
