The 97th Academy Awards is all set to be organized in March next year. The event has created a different kind of excitement among Indians since Laapataa Ladies was recently confirmed as the official entry.
Meanwhile, another title has entered in the same position and it is titled Santosh. The crime drama has been helmed by Sandhya Suri, a British-Indian filmmaker. The IMDb rating of the film has already proved its flawlessness in all the departments.

Santosh features Shahana Goswami in the lead who takes over her husband’s position in the police department after his sudden death. She is then assigned to solve the case of a girl’s murder and the rest of the film deals with if she can do the same.
The film has already premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and it is expected to achieve something bigger at the upcoming Oscars. It also includes Sunita Rajwar playing one of the leads.

Coming to the next Academy Awards, it is scheduled to be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the third time. But apart from this, other details related to the event are currently awaited.
