    UAE President Hosts America’s ‘Most-Wanted’ Haqqani Network Chief In Abu Dhabi | Watch | TOI Original


    The UAE hosted Sirajuddin Haqqani, leader of the Haqqani Network and the interim Afghan Interior Minister, marking his first foreign trip since the fall of Kabul in 2021. During his visit, he met with Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan at the Qasr Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi. Haqqani, who is wanted by the U.S. with a bounty of up to $10 million on his head, has been linked to attacks on Americans and Indian missions in Afghanistan during NATO’s occupation.
