The Hyderabad Police are going to file a petition in the Rangareddy court seeking to revoke choregrapher Jani Master’s interim bail as his National Award has been suspended.
It is already known that Jani Master has been granted interim bail from October 6 to October 9 by the Rangareddy district court as he was supposed to receive the National Award for Best Choreography on October 8.

Jani Master had been announced as the winner of the National Award for Best Choreography for the film Thiruchitrambalam (2022). However, the jury of the National Awards suspended Jani Master’s award as he was booked under the POCSO act.
Thus, he will not be able to receive the award as expected. Thus, the police are now seeking the court’s permission to cancel his bail.

Jani Master was arrested a few weeks ago due to the sexual assault case filed against him by a 21-year-old choreographer. She alleged that he sexually assaulted her multiple times over the last few years, including the time when she was a minor. Thus, the police charged him under the POCSO Act.
