Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United are among those to watch in the finals days of the January transfer window as clubs in the Premier League and across the world look to wrap up deals before the deadline.
The Gunners are desperate to sign a striker but face competition from United over Sporting forward Viktor Gyokeres, after Mikel Arteta’s side were told that RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko will not be an option this month.
Arne Slot’s Reds continue to negotiate with soon-to-be out-of-contract trio Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the right-back linked with a possible free transfer to Real Madrid.
Manchester United have been linked with Wolves pair Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, with the cub also opening talks with Lecce for defender Patrick Dorgu as Ruben Amorim prioritises signing a left back this month.
But the club need to sell to buy, with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony all set to leave.
Elsewhere, Chelsea could negotiate a swap deal with Bayern Munich winger Mathys Tel, inserting out-of-favour striker Christopher Nkunku into a deal.

Chelsea agree summer signing
Some news on the ‘young centre-back’ that Chelsea had reportedly lined up to sign in the summer.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that that is in fact Mamadou Sarr, a 19-year-old centre-back who currently plays for Strasbourg (who are owned by the BlueCo group).
The deal is reported to be worth €15m.

West Ham make striker enquiry
Some news on West Ham, who are still looking for a striker after the injury to Niclas Fullkrug.
Sky Sports reports that the Hammers “have made initial enquiries” for rb leipzig forward Andre Silva.
The German club are said to favour a permanent deal, or at least one that includes an obligation to buy.
Silva is on a list of targets that also includes Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi and Evann Guessand of Nice.

Rashford latest
Developments continue surrounding the Marcus Rashford ‘saga’, with the latest news suggesting that the United man could be moving to Borussia Dortmund.
This time, it’s German outlet Bild who are making the reports, even claiming that Rashford could join on loan as early as Thursday.
Conversely, Sky Sports are reporting that an exit for Rashford is “looking increasingly difficult”, with United “ understood to be relaxed over the situation”.

Sesko ‘has already said yes to Arsenal transfer’
More reports emerging on the future of Benjamin Sesko, with the Mirror reporting that the Slovenian striker reportedly having “declared his willingness to join Arsenal”.
It adds that Sesko “negotiated a £60m “gentleman’s agreement” to allow him to leave in the summer of 2025”, with the German club intending to stick to that agreement.
However, the report suggests the Arsenal will likely have to wait until the summer to do the deal, although the Gunners’ “deadline to do a deal has been slashed”.
