A young assistant cinematographer Krishna died due to heart attack on the sets of Nani’s film Hit.
The unit was shooting in Jammu & Kashmir when the sad incident occurred. The 30 yr old asst cinematographer KP Krishna Murthy collapsed due a heart attack and passed away on the set.

The shooting was going on in Srinagar when the incident occurred leaving the entire team in a state of shock.
Krishna was working as an assistant to Sanu John Varughese. She was admitted to Srinagar Medical College Hospital after she was diagnosed with a chest infection on December 23.

However she was recovering and could communicate with her family back home in Kerala.
She was to be shifted to the general ward, but Krishna passed away a few hours before that.

Her funeral will be held in her home town Perumbavoor. Condolences have been pouring in ever since.
Women in Cinema Collective dedicated a post to Krishna and added that she was an active member of WCC. Her talent, love for craft, contribution to film fraternity and WCC will be remembered for a long time, they posted.
