This incident has once again raised concerns about the enforcement of laws against underage driving. Last year, a similar case in Pune saw two software engineers lose their lives when a teen driving a Porsche crashed into their bike.
Despite repeated accidents, families continue to neglect the legal restrictions on minors driving vehicles, leading to avoidable tragedies.
Ensuring strict enforcement of traffic laws and holding parents accountable for allowing underage driving is necessary to prevent further loss of innocent lives.
