Tottenham host Bournemouth in the Premier League today at what is a crunch time for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
A 1-0 defeat by AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League in midweek left Spurs with a small mountain to climb to win the last remaining trophy available to them this season, but their crisis of confidence has come at the worst time with the high-flying Cherries making the trip to north London.
Andoni Iraola’s team are seventh, three points off the top five, while Spurs are 13th and a further 10 points off the pace. The hosts suffered another setback on Thursday when Dominic Solanke came off injured, but he is fit to start against his former club today.
Bournemouth lost their last Premier League outing, a 2-1 defeat to Brighton, but will be buoyed by a penalty shootout victory over Wolves in the FA Cup last weekend.

It’s a brilliant goal too, with Hill intercepting Porro’s pass near his box and bursting into acres of space ahead of him.
He makes it all the way into the final third unchallenged, and he delivers an inch-perfect cross to the back post that Tavernier arrives to bundle in!

From the corner, it’s another poor routine and the Cherries defend it easily enough.
