And all you health-conscious readers out there, these preparations are sure to bring a smile to your faces. Rasmalai oats yogurt jar dessert
Ingredients
*1/2 cup rolled oats
*3-4 tsp jaggery powder
*Chopped almonds
*Some pistachios
*1/4 cup hung curd
*1 tsp jaggery powder
*Cardamom powder
Method
*Slightly roast the rolled oats
*While roasting, add some chopped almonds and 3-4 tsp jaggery powder
*Keep roasting till the jaggery melts
*Divide the roasted oats (to be used for second dessert)
*Let it cool down for some time.
*Add some pistachios, a pinch of salt, and keep aside
*In a bowl, take 1/4 cup hung curd, and add 1 tsp jaggery powder, cardamom powder, and saffron soaked in milk
*Mix the yoghurt and fill it in a piping bag
*Make the dessert jar with layers of the mixed yogurt and rolled oats mixture
*On the top layer on hung curd garnish with dry fruits
The tasty rasmalai dessert is ready!
Chocolate oats yogurt jar dessert
Ingredients
*1/2 cup rolled oats
*1/4th cup hung curd
*1 tsp jaggery powder
*A pinch of salt
*Vanilla essence
*Chocolate shavings
*Chocolate chips
*Chocolate sauce
Method
*Take the rolled oats mixture that you had kept aside
*Add chocolate chips and a pinch of salt
*In a bowl, take hung curd
*Add 1 tsp jaggery powder, vanilla essence and chocolate shavings
*Mix and fill this chocolate flavoured hung curd in a piping bag
*Make layers of hung curd, oats mixture and chocolate sauce
*Garnish the top layer with choice of chocolate
