What’s worse is that she had communicated her plight, but was reportedly advised to adjust rather than escape.
This tragic mindset highlights a painful reality: even today, many families prioritize social stigma over their daughter’s safety.
It’s 2025, yet dowry a crime banned decades ago continues to ruin lives. Society must wake up.
Parents must understand a divorced daughter is far better than a dead one.
Authorities should ensure swift justice for Ridhanya, and communities must unite to end this brutal, outdated practice before more lives are lost.
