Former MP and Industrialist Jayadev Galla expressed concerns regarding the financial stability of the Telangana government. He suggested that if the commitments made by the previous BRS government are not fulfilled, Amara Raja may have to reconsider plans for expanding its plant in the state.
It is not exactly clear why Jayadev responded so harshly to the Government.

There can be two reasons. The first one is that Jayadev may be really concerned about Chief Minister Revanth Reddy repeatedly mentioning the grim finances of the state due to the misrule of KCR.
And the second one maybe the Revanth Reddy Government is not as responsive as he would like.

His comments come at a time when the Chief Minister is on a visit to the United States to attract investments to the state and has hurt the image of the state very badly.
Former Minister KTR already started using this to the BRS’s Political Benefit.

Whatever may be the reason for Jayadev’s comments, this is an important lesson for Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy is a novice in Political Administration. He lacks proper PR skills and previous experience to get the confidence of the investors.
Despite being the Chief Minister of one of the most happening cities in the country, Revanth Reddy is still not getting that appeal.
At this juncture, the Chief Minister is talking so much about the bad financial condition of the state ruined by the Previous Government.
This is causing doubts in the minds of the investors.
Chandrababu Naidu is also doing the same in Andhra Pradesh but then, the AP CM has the track record of repairing the state and a very positive image in the investors. That is helping Naidu to negate any negativity.
Revanth Reddy is more focused on executing welfare schemes. Back in KCR’s regime, KCR used to focus on the schemes while KTR used to build a narrative around Hyderabad, that way there is a balance between welfare and development.
The second thing is lacking in Revanth Reddy and that is leading to a decline in the investors’ confidence.
Beyond both these reasons, we do not know if there is Red-Tapism or Corruption in the Government. If that is the case, this would be a serious problem.
If Revanth Reddy is not interested in continuing the projects that came during the BRS regime, it is another serious problem because Amara Raja is a too big company and can potentially damage the Brand Image of Hyderabad big time.
An Industrialist like Jayadev Galla does not speak anything against the Government so easily. Remember he suffered in silence even when the Jagan government harassed him big time till the last minute.
Such comments will add credence to the political allegations made by the BRS.
This should be a wake-up call for Revanth Reddy and he should focus on what is happening when he comes back from the USA.
