Tamil hero Vijay is currently juggling two roles: preparing for the release of his next movie, GOAT (The Greatest of All Time), while also launching his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
GOAT has struggled with poor buzz since its announcement, and the material released has only increased the film’s lackluster reception. The recently released trailer failed to capture the attention of Telugu audiences.

The film has a runtime of 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 39 seconds, which is almost 3 hours for a typical commercial action film.
If things go wrong, it could spell disaster, as we’ve seen several films trimmed post-release without recovering. Audience attention spans and patience have significantly decreased, making it challenging for viewers to sit through a film without checking their phones. Yet, some directors continue to make bold moves with lengthy runtimes.
