Indian soap operas and reality shows have a habit of running for multiple seasons. Comedy Nights with Kapil is also included in this list, which was hosted by Kapil Sharma, and unexpectedly became popular among the public.
After discontinuing its run on Colors, Kapil’s show shifted to Sony Entertainment Television, which ran for five seasons despite getting a mixed reaction from the audience. While this version also concluded last year, Kapil got a better opportunity to connect with the global audience with a new show on Netflix, titled The Great Indian Kapil Show.

While certain reports stated that the show failed to trend on top, it was still being watched by a lot of people. It’s been around two months since the first season ended and the makers have recently announced a new installment.
Although a release date is yet to be confirmed, a video confirming the new season of the series has now come out. It starts with Archana Puran Singh telling the camera that they are returning soon with Season 2.

This is followed by a moment where the lead cast members, except Kapil, hold placards in their hands with each of them featuring one word from the entire title of the show. While the video did not tease anything else, the conversation of the cast members hinted that it would air on Saturdays.
The makers have not disclosed any new additions or format changes for now. But one thing that would remain common is the jokes along with a guest from the entertainment industry adding more fun to each episode.
