Director Koratala Siva made a comeback of sorts with Devara which worked pretty well at the box office. We can’t quite say Koratala was back to his best, but he at least delivered a sellable film.
Coming to the topic now, after Devara’s box office success, there was an extensive campaign on social media about his comeback after Devara.

There were countless tweets on how Koratala must have been constrained by Chiranjeevi for him to deliver a dud like Acharya while Koratala had it in him to make four blockbusters prior to that and also a pan Indian film like Devara.
Adding to that, Koratala’s “Evari pani vallu cheyali” statement was rubbed in the context of Acharya.

All in all, social media is entirely abuzz about the strained relationship between Koratala and the Mega family after Acharya. There are new memes and trolls on this topic right from the day of Devara’s release.
This social media narrative is bound to play a role in the potential patch up Chiranjeevi and Charan with Koratala Siva. It has perhaps reached a point where social media itself has completely distance Koratala and Mega compound, if it wasn’t the case already.

With this, it is becoming almost overwhelmingly evident that the Mega doors are almost permanently closed for Koratala.
That being said, the film industry is a strange and funny place where things can change rather quickly. So we can’t write off anything here.
