India has had a unique record to its name when it comes to winning test matches in cricket. The new home of cricket has not lost a single first series after it has been renamed.

There have been several incidents to prove the same. The BGT of 1996-97, the first one of its name, was won by India.

Similarly, India also went on to win the Pataudi Trophy and Gandhi Mandela Trophy in 2007 and 2015 respectively, the same years they were renamed.

Now, with the India-England test series being renamed as the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy, anticipation is high regarding India pocketing this as another name to its collection as well, hence continuing its unbroken streak.
