This is the scary moment St Louis Blues hockey star Dylan Holloway collapsed and was rushed to hospital after being struck in the neck by the puck.
The worrying incident occurred during the first period of a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Missouri, when Nicholas Paul smashed the puck into Holloway from short range.
He managed to continue skating for around 30 seconds, even receiving the ball and passing it off to a teammate, before he eventually returned to the bench and slumped down onto the bench.
Seconds later, he had collapsed and medics rushed to his aid, holding his neck and putting him straight onto a stretcher.
Players then knelt on the ice as Holloway was wheeled down the tunnel to the locker room, where he was taken straight to hospital, and the first period of the game was stopped early.

Shortly after, hockey insider Frank Seravalli reported that Holloway is ‘going to be okay’, writing on X: ‘His airway is open and unobstructed.
‘There’s no swelling around his neck, precautionary scan scheduled at hospital. Holloway’s parents were in town for the game and are with him at hospital.’
He was also reported to be alert and responsive as he was transported to the medical facility while the game continued in his absence.
Holloway is just 23, and has played three seasons in the NHL after being drafted 14th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2020.
He moved south of the border to St Louis in August of this year on a two-year, $2.29m per year contract.
