The Telugu OTT space is running high and dry again with a lack of big releases. The last big release in the OTT space, Kalki walked away with not much noise so there is a lot of void for a big film to capture this vacuum.

Needless to say, the next big outing in the Telugu OTT space will obviously be NTR’s Devara. It has been nearly a month from the film’s theatrical debut and hence, its OTT release could be around 4 weeks from now. The chances are that Devara could stream on Netflix towards the end of November.
What shall also be noted here is that Devara has certain aspects that make it a priced OTT debut.

The man of masses card, the interval fight, and the wedding dance sequences will certainly make rounds on OTT. Anirudh’s exemplary work is also likely to catch the attention of the OTT audience.
At the same time, there is scope for trolls, including the Prakash Raj-Ajay conversation which revolves around many topics apart from the dead bodies beneath the sea and who is Yathi tracks.

Either way, good or bad, Devara has enough talking points to make a splash on OTT. However, whether or not the film has any repeat value will be decided after its Netflix debut.
