Time and again, we hear heartbreaking stories related to Indian students in the U.S., where they become tragic victims of crimes. This particular incident is truly shocking and heartbreaking.

Two Telugu girls, aged 2 and 4, wandered behind their apartment complex in Holtsville, (Long Island New York) where there is a pond, and drowned in the water.

When the family realized the girls were missing, they called 911. By the time the police arrived and began searching, they discovered that the girls had drowned in the pond.

The police rushed them to Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, where doctors confirmed that they were already dead.

It is deeply shocking that such young girls went to the back of the apartment complex and drowned while playing in the pond. A neighbor expressed deep shock, noting that no one usually goes near that pond except for some bikers in the area.

This tragic incident highlights the critical importance of vigilance with young children. In the U.S., ponds or secluded areas might be well-maintained for aesthetics but can be dangerous.
