A Bengaluru techie’s unique complaint regarding his wife has gone viral, creating ripples on social media.
Srikant, a Bangalore-based techie recently complained of his wife demanding Rs.5000 per day in order to stay married to him, threatening suicide otherwise.

Some reports claim that she used to irritate her husband during his work-from-home calls, demanding Rs.45 Lakhs to leave him alone.
While the wife has currently rejected all these claims, claiming evidence tampering with audio and video recordings, day by day we are seeing an increase in such cases due to the debatable leaning of the laws towards females.

There is no doubt that our laws are female-centric and, hence, are sometimes taken advantage of by cunning people looking to make a quick buck from an emotional situation.
While such laws shouldn’t be removed due to the still rampant female discrimination in the country, there should be the establishment of a robust system that thoroughly checks such cases to give the males a fair shot at fighting as well.
