A Bengaluru techie who lived in Chikkabanavara committed suicide unable to bear wife’s harassment. The deceased identified as Prashanth Nair, 40, was a senior sales and marketing manager in Lenovo.
His wife Pooja Nair was working as a software engineer in Dell. There was marital discord between the couple. Prashant is said to have discussed it with his father regularly.

As the quarrels increased, Prashanth Nair hung himself from the fan in his room on Sunday night. When he did not lift his phone, his father reached the place and found his hung body.
His father MN Kutty, a retired canteen manager from the Armed Forces, filed a complaint regarding his death. Prashanth was his second son and was married for 12 years. He had a eight-yr-old daughter.

The family were staying in Hennur when the quarrels started. Despite the elders trying to mediate, Prashant moved into Ganagarahalli apartment and was living separately.
The body was taken for post mortem and the police are investigating the matter.
