OpenAI unveils GPT-4o
GPT-4o (o stands for Omni) is OpenAI’s latest and most capable generative AI model with multimodal capability. Available for both Plus and free users, GPT-4o comes with more capabilities than ever before and can reason across text, voice, images, and video. Anyone can access GPT-4o, however, OpenAI has limited the number of queries on free accounts, once exhausted, the chatbot will switch back to the previous GPT-3.5 model.

Google unveils Gemini 1.5 Pro
Google, at its recently held I/O 2024 developers conference, unveiled its latest generative AI model – Gemini 1.5 Pro. Available for Advanced subscribers, the new model now supports up to 1 million token context windows and also offers exclusive features. The model is now available in over 150 countries and supports 35 languages. Besides, Google has also infused a generative AI model into Gmail and has introduced AI Overview on Google Search.

Android 15 beta now available for over 25 smartphones
Google’s Android 15 beta is no longer limited to just Pixel smartphones. At I/O 2024, Google announced that the Android 15 beta is now available for over 25 smartphones from brands like OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, and more. However, do note that most of the OEMs are currently offering Android 15 based on the first beta build and not the latest and second iteration. GTA 6 to launch in 2025
This update comes just a few months after Rockstar Games shared the trailer of GTA 6, the upcoming open-world video game from the world’s most popular franchise Grand Theft Auto. During a recent earning call, Take-Two Interactive Software, the parent company of Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 will release in fall 2025 for the latest gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
