Given that the Trump government is implementing strict visa rules, tech giants have given key instructions to employees on H1-B visas.

Given such a situation, the tech giants like Google, Amazon and Microsoft have given specific directives to those on H1-B visas, according to international media.
They have cautioned their employees not to leave US, as the chances of their returning could be bleak. Two visa holders have shared with media that they were told not to travel to India given the current situation.

Similarly, one employee expressed fears over Trump government ending birthright citizenship. Due to change of laws, the future generations will not have a place to call home, said another.
Yet another Indian said that anyone who is other than an American is being looked upon as an outsider living illegally on their land. Some others said that they will carry the necessary documents in case they were to travel.

H1-B Visa is given to skilled employees on a temporary basis. The American companies sponsor such skilled persons through the visa. Through a lottery system, 65,000 visas are given annually. Indians, Chinese and Canadians stand in the forefront among these visa holders.
Companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Apple hire the skilled employees. Instructions have been given to keep the requisite paperwork ready while travelling into US and while leaving US.
Greencard, visa, re-entry permit, employment verification letter, Federal income tax receipts, salary slips are to be carried at all times, as per guidelines. In case of students, university approval letter and US bank account details need to showed during entry and exit.
