Welcome to Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s unique new football memory game that tests your football knowledge and will excite and infuriate in equal measure.
Every day we’ll challenge you to name a different starting XI from the Premier League era. We’ll give you a team’s rough formation, and the number of letters in each player’s name. Then it’s up to you to take as few guesses as possible to name the whole team.
Each guess costs you a point, and the aim of the game is to score as FEW points as possible! Share your score with your friends and family – and when you’re done, you can choose a team and we’ll generate a second Teamsheet for you.
You can play two matches a day and pick ANY club that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.
You can even narrow down your choice by decade. So whether you want an Arsenal top-flight match from the Arteta era, or a Liverpool game from the 2010s, let’s see what the Teamsheet generator throws up.
And after Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City yesterday, we simply want you to try and name their starting line-up from when the same opponents thrashed them 6-0 in 2019, in what was their worst defeat in 28 years.
Good luck!
