We are delighted to return for yet another day of Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s original football memory game that tests your football knowledge and reminds you of nostalgic moments you may have forgotten.
So, what is the aim of the game? Well, every day, you’ll be challenged to name a starting XI from a random match in Premier League history. The team’s rough formation will be given for you, and you’ll also be told how many letters are in each player’s name. The rest is up to you! Try to fill it out in as few attempts as possible.
Every time you make a guess, a point is added to your total, with an 11 being the BEST possible score. Challenge your friends, family and colleagues to beat your score – and after you are finished, you can choose a team and we’ll produce a second Teamsheet for you.
You can play two matches a day and pick ANY club – from Newcastle to Southampton – that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.
Today, we cast our eye back to Chelsea‘s 4-0 mauling of Manchester United in October 2016, when Jose Mourinho endured a nightmare return to Stamford Bridge during the first few months of his Red Devils reign. Can you remember who lined up for Antonio Conte‘s Blues that day?
Best of luck!
