TDP Wins Election In YSR’s Native In Kadapa!

Telugu Desam Party is back to its full glory after coming back to power earlier this year. After suffering under the YCP regime over the past five years, people gave a clear mandate and made the alliance of TDP-JSP-BJP win 164 of 175 assembly seats. On the other side, YCP was handed a humiliating defeat, winning only 11 of 175 seats.

Since winning the general elections, TDP’s strength at the ground level has also been rising across the state. From big leaders to party workers in rural areas, many people are jumping from YCP to TDP and strengthening the party from the grassroots level.

Meanwhile, TDP has now shown its dominance in YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s native village, Balapanuru as well by winning the Irrigation Society Elections.

Balapanuru falls under Simhadripuram mandal of the Kadapa district. It belongs to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s constituency, Pulivendula.

By winning 32 society elections in the Pulivendula constituency, TDP proved its dominance in the fortress of Jagan and YSR. Given the success at this level, we can assume TDP breaching Jagan’s fortress in the future.

On Saturday, elections took place in 5,946 of the total 6,149 Irrigation Societies across the state. 95% of these societies chose their president and vice-president unanimously. All society elections were won by the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance, handing a crushing defeat to YCP yet again.
