The Union Government of India has just released the prestigious Padma Awards list. When it comes to the Tamil film industry (Kollywood), star hero Ajith Kumar has been honored with the Padma Bhushan.

This marks a historic moment for him as he becomes the only new-generation Tamil movie hero to receive this prestigious award.
So far, no other contemporary Tamil hero has been honored with this recognition.

In the past, legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1984, followed by Superstar Rajinikanth in 2000, Kamal Haasan in 2014, and Vijayakanth in 2024. Ajith Kumar now becomes the fifth Tamil actor to receive this honor and the first from the newer generation.
This milestone has thrilled his fans, who are celebrating their favorite actor’s remarkable achievement.
