Talented Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey, who is popular for films like 12th Fail, Haseen Dilruba and The Sabarmati Report, has shockingly announced his retirement from films at the age of just 37.
The actor took to social media to announce his decision. He said that the time has come to take a break from films and spend time with his family, as a husband, father and son. He said he will be seen for the one last time in 2025.

“The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted,” he wrote in his note.
Vikrant didn’t specify any other reason for his retirement. Meanwhile, fans were shocked by his decision and expressed their disbelief at the news. They are yet to digest the fact that he will be seen no more in the movies.

Vikrant was last seen in The Sabarmati Report. The documentary of the BTS of his biggest blockbuster, 12th Fail, will be released this month. Apart from that, Vikrant is acting in Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, alongside Shanaya Kapoor and Talakhon Mein Ek, with Raashi Khanna. Both films are slated for release in 2025.
