Last week, there was a significant development in Andhra-Telangana relations.
The Union Government debited 2,500 Crore from Telangana’s Account and Credited it to Andhra’s Account.

In the United State, the then Andhra Pradesh Government took loans for projects like Outer Ring Road, Hussain Sagar, etc.
These are Telangana-specific projects but since the loans are in AP’s name, the state is repaying the Principal and interest even after the bifurcation.

This 2,500 Crore pertains to that.
It is the principle of natural justice that Telangana should repay that. KCR Government did not pay because it wanted to trouble Chandrababu Naidu and later, Jagan never asked even though he was on good terms with KCR.

With the change in the Chief Ministers in both states, a better sense prevailed.
T-News, the mouthpiece of BRS ran a program using words like కట్టప్ప కప్పం, తెలంగాణకు వ్యతిరేకంగా చంద్రబాబు శకుని పాత్ర, చంద్రబాబు తెలంగాణకు దొంగ దెబ్బ కొట్టాడు, బాబు దొంగ దెబ్బ, etc.
First things first, T-News does not have the minimum reach to make an impact on Telangana Politics.
Even when BRS was at its helm, the channel proved ineffective.
But the video has gone viral on social media and WhatsApp groups sparking debate.
It is interesting to note that even Pro-Telangana people are condemning this behavior of T-News.
If Telangana owes money to AP, what is wrong with repaying that?
If T-News airs programs like this and masks them as the views of the Telangana public, it will showcase the state in a poor light as if the people want free meals.
T-News understandably will be desperate to pin down Revanth Reddy but it should exercise some common sense while airing such programs.
Even the BRS Top leadership did not respond on this issue indicating how things should be handled. T-News should take note of.
