Vetrimaaran, after Viduthalai 2, has started the pre-production works for his most anticipated movie, Vadivaasal, starring Suriya.
Recently, the producer of this movie, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, in an interview, opened up that the shooting of Vadivaasal is scheduled to begin in June and will be released in 2026.

Also, he has mentioned that Vetrimaaran will complete the shooting of Vadivaasal at a fast pace, like how he completed Asuran.
After this, social media users started to respond that, after Viduthalai 2, many critics and audiences criticized Vetrimaaran for taking too much time in the shooting of the movie; it looks like now he has changed himself for Vadivaasal.
