The Supreme Court has struck down the petition by KTR in a major festival shock.
BRS working president and ex minister KTR approached the Apex Court after his quash petition was dismissed by the Telangana High Court.

The Supreme Court refused to consider the quash petition and KTR had to it take it back. KTR was unhappy with the dismissal of his quash petition regarding E-Racing case in High Court.
The case came for hearing today and the hearings went on for a while. Following this, the Supreme Court bench gave judgement saying it would not meddle with the judgement issued by the High Court.

On KTR’s side, his lawyer Siddharth argued that 13(1) A of Prevention of Corruption Act does not apply to his client. He pointed out that KTR and two others’ name were mentioned in the case without any mention of HMDA. The counsel further added that this was purely a case of political revenge.
Meanwhile, the Telangana government had filed a caveat petition in Supreme Court prior to KTR. While KTR hoped for a stay, he is now in a tight spot. He will have to attend ACB questioning and face arrest if things turn against him.

ACB and ED have already questioned IAS officer Arvind Kumar and HMDA chief engineer and gathered information from them.
Is arrest imminent for KTR is the big question among political circles.
KTR has maintained through out that he believed in the system and law. It remains to be seen if he will be arrested in the case.
