Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan shocked his fans as he opened up about his retirement plans in an interview. The actor, now 59, revealed that he had considered retiring during the pandemic, but had decided against it on his family’s advice.
This encouragement from his family motivated Aamir to stay in the industry for another decade, leading to him taking up six projects at the same time.

The actor revealed his thoughts as he said, “You can’t trust life; we might die tomorrow. I roughly have 10 years of active life left.”
He further added that he aims to make his remaining active years productive by creating meaningful cinema and backing talented writers and directors.

While his ex-wife Kiran Rao reminded him of legends like Clint Eastwood, active at 97, Aamir dismissed it by citing him as a rare exception.
Social media has been going wild with comments ever since the actor announced his last active decade. One user said, “Aamir is an inspiration; making every moment count is what legends do.”

Another urged the actor to stay in public life as he commented, “Bollywood without Aamir would be incomplete; please don’t retire anytime soon!” Many fans were hopeful that Aamir would make his last active decade his best yet.
Despite the setback of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in 2022, the trust of his fans in the superstar seems unaltered as they wait for his upcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ later this December.
