Salman Khan’s Sikandar is arriving towards the end of this month and it will be followed by Sunny Deol’s Jaat around two weeks later on April 10, 2025.
After the success of Chhaava, distributors and theatre owners are depending on both films considering the overall response to the announcements that have been shared by the makers until now. Notably, Sikandar and Jaat are helmed by two talented directors from the South film industry.

A.R. Murugadoss and Gopichand Malineni had a decent track record over the years as they have managed to impress audiences with movies that focus on heroism and the lead superstar taking down hundreds of villains at the same time.
Salman Khan has been going through a rough phase since 2018 as most of his films did not work at the box office. Salman’s collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss is undoubtedly expected to bring good results.

However, everyone is well-aware of the fact that Sikandar’s teaser has been brutally trolled for different reasons compared to Jaat, which was loved by the general public for the presentation of Sunny Deol.
The fate of the Sikandar at the box office is also a big question mark as the makers have opted for a non-theatrical deal to recover a portion of their investment.

Based on the above-mentioned factors, it seems like maybe Salman should join Gopichand Malineni for another action entertainer in the next few years. This does not mean that A.R. Murugadoss is not a good director.
But Murugadoss’ films have frequently featured a social issue as the main topic, which is covered with the help of a script that is full of masala elements.
Compared to Murugadoss, Gopichand’s films simply focus on the clash between the hero and villain without focusing on something else, and this is something that will work perfectly with a personality like Salman Khan.
While Salman and Gopichand’s collaboration might not happen so easily, maybe it is the right time to give it a chance by keeping in view the current condition of Bollywood.
